The First Appointment

You will get a thorough history and evaluation at this initial visit. We will measure your spine’s range of motion as well as the ROM of your neck and mid-back. During this appointment, we will answer any questions you may have and make sure you’re in the right place to have your health concerns addressed.

Typically, we don’t provide chiropractic care on the first visit. We will give you a report to take home and read and digest so you can prepare for your follow-up appointment.

During this report of findings visit, your chiropractor will review the findings from your first appointment. Then, a care plan will be suggested for you. We’ll also discuss lifestyle changes and other healthy actions you can take to get the outcomes you desire. If you agree to begin care, we will give you your first chiropractic adjustment.

If you’re not ready to start, that’s fine! We encourage you to think about what we talked about and then let us know if you want to start care in the future.

A lot of patients are surprised by how quickly they respond to chiropractic care compared to previous care they’ve had. That’s because the technique we use is more specific versus regular chiropractic. You will have the option of just getting out of pain or moving towards improved function.

In addition to chiropractic care, new patients can take advantage of our wellness & lifestyle coaching, which entails the following:

  • A genetically compatible diet
  • Exercise and stress management plans
  • A report explaining your risk factors for developing chronic disease

We then provide coaching on how to change your lifestyle to improve your health. Such changes include making additions to your diet, adding simple exercises, and incorporating breathing and mindfulness techniques.
